เรซิ่นสำหรับเครื่องพิมพ์ 3 มิติ (3D Printer Resin) มีกี่ชนิด เลือกใช้อย่างไร (2026)

Currently, LCD 3D printer technology, or what some companies call MSLA 3D printing, has developed to a point where its resolution is sufficient for almost all major applications, whether it is for prototyping, jewelry, dentistry, or engineering. Therefore, many brands will now focus on features that help speed up printing, ensure consistent quality with every print, and reduce failed prints. Another aspect is resin materials, which are designed and developed for specific tasks. For those who are looking for resin to use, try checking out the resins in this article; they might just meet your needs.

1. Prototype and General Model Group, or often called Standard Resin or General Resin

This is a resin for prototyping and general modeling. It is the starting point for every brand, easy to print, and provides the sharpest detail. It is usually the resin that has the most options for colors and special characteristics.

1.1 General Resin Group

1.2 Water Washable Resin Group - Can be washed with plain water, saving on cleaning solutions/chemicals.

1.3 Speed Resin Group - Prints 5-10 times faster than normal, with resolution slightly lower than 1.1.

2. Tough and Durable Group or Engineering Group

This is a highly durable resin, which can be considered an engineering-grade resin. It is suitable as a material that is wear-resistant and flexible. This type of resin comes with mechanical properties similar to polypropylene (PP), with a low modulus, high elongation, and high impact resistance. Durable resin can therefore produce parts with a smooth, glossy surface and high resistance to deformation. This type of resin can be used for parts that require high flexibility and low friction.

Durable resin is ideal for creating prototypes for consumer goods, bearings, various packaging, snap fits, and flexures, as well as various products that require special flexibility.

3. Stiff Group or Extra-Rigid Group

This is a special rigid resin, harder than the Standard/General Resin group, but it does not break easily like that group. Some types have ceramic or fillers mixed in, resulting in higher than normal strength. This material has high resistance to deformation, making it suitable for printing thin walls or thin thicknesses well.

4. Heat Resistant Group

Heat-resistant resin, suitable for applications that require high thermal stability and operation at high temperatures. This resin can withstand heat in the range of 200 – 300 °C, and at 238 °C at 0.45 MPa. It is used to print precise prototype details with high temperature resistance, which is suitable for producing heat-resistant installations, mold prototypes, fluid flow equipment, tools, and various thermoforming parts.

5. Flexible Resin / Elastic Resin / Rubber-like Resin Group

This is a material that is very similar to rubber, allowing engineers to simulate soft-touch rubber parts easily and quickly. This type of resin has a low tensile modulus but very high elongation at break. It is suitable for objects that will be bent or compressed.

To check hardness and flexibility, look at two values: Hardness. The lower the number, the softer it is, and a lower letter indicates more softness than a higher letter, for example, Shore 75A is softer than Shore 75D.

Additionally, it can be used to add properties suitable for various applications, such as packaging, rubber stamps, and the creation of wearable prototypes like shoes and clothing.

6. Jewelry Group or Wax Resin

This is a resin for jewelry work, containing Polymer Wax or wax according to the manufacturer's formula. If this group of resins is burned at a temperature exceeding 700 degrees Celsius, there will be almost no ash left, or as little as 0-0.05%.

7. Dental Resin Group

This is another application where resins are the most subdivided. Some brands have over 10 subdivisions for this field, including those for prototyping, modeling, and even those used inside the human body. This is a high-priced group of resins, and the standard for working with them must strictly follow the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure standardized finished parts.
